The Department of Engineering Services under the Ministry of Works and Human Settlement is pleased to publish the following documents related to Bhutan Schedule of Rates:

3. Specifications for Building and Road Works – 2022
4. Bhutan Schedule of Rates (Electrical) – 2022
5. Labour and Material Coefficients (Electrical) – 2022
6. Specifications for Electrical Works – 2022

In the new BSR, the rates for the materials and machineries have been revised to make it more appropriate to the prevailing market scenario. However, the rates reflected are only the suggestive averages and may not reflect the actual current market prices. Therefore the BSR users are urged to use it for reference and guidance purposes only.
In addition to the existing items in BSR, some new items have been added and some obsolete items removed to fit into the current scenario of the construction industry. All of the above documents shall be available on the Ministry’s website from 25th of April 2022, and the users of the BSR are encouraged to use this BSR henceforth.
